Sunday, August 16
“Whenever possible, let your husband explain. Your desire to protect him should not cause you to lie to people when they have a right to know where he is and what he is doing.” Page 115 — Shielding others from the consequences of their drinking is codependent. We don’t serve alcoholics when we attempt to lessen or minimize the unmanageability of their lives by rationalizing, minimizing, or outright lying. We each must face the music and get clear and honest before we can begin to recover.

Help one; save two. Happy Sunday!
