“We thought well before taking this step (Step 3) making sure we were ready; that we could at last abandon ourselves utterly to Him.” Page 63 — Complete and utter abandonment of my will, surrendering my will to God, has not been an easy process for me. Each morning, first thing, I pray the Third Step Prayer, desiring to slowly and gradually surrender ever more of myself, my thoughts, and my actions to God. I pray for the willingness to remain willing to show up daily for this slow process.
