“We were reborn.” Page 63 — How many days and afternoons and years have we wasted in our fears, in active alcoholism, selfish and self-serving? The answer for me is decades. I’m different now, after having worked the steps and weaving them into my life. I’ve learned to trust in God, in the process, and have learned the secrets to happiness. As Dr. Bob said, “Trust God; clean house; help others.” Could it really be that simple? In my experience, yes.
