“Who of us had not loved something or somebody? How much did these feelings, these loves, these worships, have to do with pure reason?” Page 54 — By definition, love is neither logical nor rational for love transcends the intellect and our physical reality. Love is of the heavens. Love is of the heart. Love is faithful and faith is loving. Does not the existence of love prove some power greater than self, than logic, than what we see and know as reality? Is not love a higher power than our instinctive, self-centered addictions?
