“You may have to curb his desire to work sixteen hours a day. You may need to encourage him to play once in a while.” Page 146 — In recovery, once we’ve done the work of the steps, we discover what real life is. It’s work. It’s play. It’s rest. It’s growth. It’s a feast. And, sometimes, it’s famine. We do well to learn to prioritize. Recovery and God first. Then family, work, rest, play, enjoyment, exploration.
