“…if trouble comes, cheerfully capitalize it as an opportunity to demonstrate His omnipotence.” Page 133 — It’s not so easy to be happy and cheerful in the face of trials, in the presence of needed growth. Sure, hypothetically and theoretically, in recovery we are committed to constant growth, but to welcome trouble is not so easy. I’d love to have an easier life. Except that would eliminate much of the growth, and when I’m not growing, I’m shrinking. So, on second thought, I would not wish an easier life, but, instead, I pray for the life God grants me, just as it is, trouble and all. Cheerfully. Help one; save two. Happy cheerful Friday!
